Start your countdown calendars!! First in-water practice is Tuesday, May 14th (see website for age-group practice times). We can't wait!!

A few pre-season notes:

• We work around weather whenever possible. Please be patient as spring storms travel through the area. Our primary goal is to keep your swimmer safe while also maximizing the amount of time we have in the pool. Sometimes practices or meets will be cut short... we'll give you as much notice as possible, but inevitably some of our cancellations will be last minute. All of our communication will be through the swimtopia website. If you are getting this email, you will also get our alerts!!
• Coaches won't have time to chat during practices. We have a large team this year and to keep everyone safe, we need all coach eyes on the pool. If you have questions, you can always shoot Coach Chris an email at [email protected].
• Also, we LOVE parent cheerleaders, but please don't coach your swimmer from the side of the pool... we have an excellent staff and we need your swimmers to pay attention to their instructions!!
• Practice/Meet gear: Our swimmers age 7&up need a BLACK racing suit for meets. Racing suits are preferred for all ages for practices. All swimmers will receive a swimcap for the season (optional, but included in registration), and should bring goggles if you're planning to use them! In the early weeks of practice when the water is chilly, bring multiple towels to the pool deck - one to dry off and one to warmup!
• All regular pool rules apply. If your swimmer can't come to the pool alone during regular hours (swimmers under 12), they can't come to swim-team practice alone!

VOLUNTEER RAFFLE: We have over 80 volunteer spots to fill this year!! Thanks to the following families for volunteering for multiple spots this season: Benson, Benton, Babani, Jacques, Payton, Turk, Lynch, Barnett, Cuellar, Dockery, Felder, Self, and Zimmerman.
