Finally – on Sunday, June 22 at 6pm, we will take part in the first ever GCSL Division 3 Relay Carnival. All of our division rivals will meet at Raintree’s pool for a special relay-only meet. Participation will be decided on best times, behavior/sportsmanship at meets and practice, and availability. Four boys and four girls from each age group (7 and up) will make up a freestyle relay, and four boys and four girls from each age group (7 and up) will make up a medley relay. In addition, there will be a mixed age/mixed gender freestyle relay. We are so excited about this event and are planning on some extra fun prizes and entertainment during the meet. You will see that this event has been added to Swimtopia. Please declare whether your swimmer is available (RSVP ASAP) for this event (and others if you know your schedule), and Coach Chris will begin building teams once we enter the competition part of the season! We are also required to bring a certain number of volunteers to make this meet successful, so we will rely on parents of participants to help fill those spots once teams are released.
Have a great week!
